Which secondhand automobile did I purchase?
Motors, I will have a biggy and a small for the girlfriend
So I have been looking around for a while now for a couple of reliable used cars. I’m after something big due to the fact my job requires a lot of motorway journeys. The missus’s automobile however just needs to be small although as we have a toddler she is pondering something big but tiny, have they even invented that?
Where to first, of course the chat rooms was an obvious place to get ideas from. But chat rooms being chat rooms, they just love a motor or hate it. There is no okay it’s either love or hate, and then it is two faced so I shied away. You can never get a basic reply from some ones keyboard ego anyway, even more so when it is about used cars.
Where now then? Simple, I kept my eyes peeled on what’s out and about, what I see most of, after all a majority can not have it wrong. When I eyed a automobile I liked I would then search on the web through vehicle sites with open opinions. This aided a lot as you can learn quite a bit before tackling the mine field secondhand auto dealers.

After reducing the preowned automobile choices down it was time to head to the sales rooms. It is good when you know a little about a car because the salesman become aware you know what you’re talking about and they treat you with a bit more respect and honesty. It puts you in a better position to sit inside and take for a drive plenty of different models which is very important.
Of course I finally made decision and bought, but what did I choose? I selected Vauxhall, the choice in the end was over Vauxhall and Ford because the replacement part, servicing and repairs is run of the mill for virtually all garages and myself. The other halves used auto is a Mariva. This is a truly brilliant selection. It looks like an MPV however it has the identical floor dimensions as a Corsa which is a little car . Its road area is virtually identical other than it has a taller roof which increases the boot space. The doors are big and this combined with the roof equates to getting kids, shopping and yours truly out is straight forward and simple.
As for my motor ? The Vauxhall Omega, it’s giant and comfortable for a modestly priced auto. It has a powerful engine though on journeys it’s pretty good on gas so it’s a all round winner for me. These are a great business motor with much room surrounding the drivers position and all the modern extras to help that long journey be that bit more enjoyable. Of course this is just one persons point of view however I’m sure it’s worth something to someone, so If you are mulching over this I hope it aids you along all the used cars puzzles that await you.
